Our lab is dedicated to pioneering research at the intersection of computational and experimental biology, focusing on transformative solutions for human health.We specialize in drug discovery for neurodegenerative diseases, focusing on identifying novel therapeutic targets and small molecules to combat repeat expansion disorders such as Huntington’s disease, FXTAS, ALS, and CANVAS. Our research also extends to cancer treatment, where we explore innovative strategies to disrupt cancer progression, including DNA- and RNA-targeted therapies and immunotherapy approaches. In addition, we are actively engaged in genome mining for novel G-quadruplex structures to uncover new druggable targets that advance precision medicine. We also create and maintain high-quality biological databases that support drug discovery, genomic analysis, and disease modeling.
