Our lab is dedicated to pioneering research at the intersection of computational and experimental biology, focusing on transformative solutions for human health. We specialize in Drug Discovery for Neurodegenerative Diseases by identifying novel therapeutic targets and small molecules to combat Repeat expansion disorders such as Huntington’s, FAXTAS and CANVAS as well as Cancer Treatment by exploring innovative approaches to disrupt cancer progression, including DNA or RNA targeted therapies and Immunotherapy, Genome-Mining for Novel G-quadruplex structures to uncover new druggable targets for precision medicine and creating and maintaining high-quality biological databases to facilitate drug discovery, genomic analysis, and disease modeling.
